More Than Headlines Podcast

Hosted by Glory James

Behind every headline is a deeper story; this podcast is where we tell it. More Than Headlines was born out of a deep need to stop performing and start feeling.

This isn’t just a podcast, it’s a mirror, a microphone, and a movement. One episode at a time, we’re unlearning, unmasking, and becoming.

The episodes blend insightful social commentary with a slice of pop culture and signature Nigerian humor (Naija wit) to make complex discussions feel light-hearted, engaging, and deeply relatable.

Podcast Topics Include:

  • Societal & Medical Realities: Deep-dives into highly critical, often overlooked topics—such as the realities of medical negligence, the systemic emigration of African professionals, and breaking the stigma around male victims of sexual abuse.
  • Relationships & Culture: Unpacking modern dating concepts, analyzing trending social ideologies (like the "No Explanation" culture), and highlighting relationship red flags that threaten mental peace
  • Personal Growth & Identity: Exploring mindset tools for success, managing group dynamics, and how individuals navigate teamwork without losing their personal identity.
